Drawings in ink and wash, conte crayon and computer art

The images shown display a range of Allison's drawings - some in ink and wash, some in pencil, some in conte crayon and some using computer art on an Apple Mac (using Photoshop or IllustratorCS4 and an Intuos Pen and Wacom Tablet).

The images were drawn for a range of reasons - for books and magazines, to add interest to websites and graphic work and to illustrate a specific part of a website - for example the 1 Website design team or the Shiatsu illustrations that are included on www.wellbeingone.org.

The drawings of jesters were for the about us page of Pants on Fire Games web site, capturing a likeness of the 2 company founders in a playful and stylish way.

"Many of these drawings will be familliar as finished artwork from other pages on this site. Though 90% of my work takes place in my head I always sketch out the ideas when I'm ready and all of my finished work goes through this process. I'm very driven by the idea and how that idea becomes a reality, I never get tired of the transformation of an idea into a finished artwork."
